This is an old story that we have been hearing since childhood.

There was a businessman who had a donkey. He used to go to the market every day carrying a bag of salt on his donkey. The donkey was not happy with this much labour. But he did not know how to solve this problem.

On the way, he had to cross a drain every day. One day the donkey suddenly fell into the stream and the salt bag also fell into the water. And the salt dissolved in water. Suddenly the bags became too light to carry. The donkey was very happy.

Then the donkey started playing the same trick every day, he used to fall in water every day and enjoy doing less work.

The seller of salt understood the trick and decided to teach him a lesson. The next day he loaded a cotton bag on the donkey. As usual, the donkey did the same trick again, hoping that the cotton bag would lighten up.

But the soaked cotton was too heavy to carry and the donkey suffered. It learned a lesson. After that day the trick didn't work, and the seller was happy.

Moral of the story:

Luck may help you for some time but we should not try it again and again. This will not always help. We must focus on our skills to become better.
